Man charged over Melanie Road’s murder #MelanieRoad

Seventeen-year-old Melanie was killed in the early hours of June 9 1984 after a night out in Bath. Christopher John Hampton, 63,  of Fishponds,  Bristol will appear before Magistrates Court on Monday.

63-year-old man arrested for the 1984 murder of teenage student Melanie Road #MelanieRoad

17-year-old Melanie was attacked after a night out in Bath, in June 1984. Her body was found in front of  garages in St Stephens Road. She had been assaulted and stabbed to death.
