Last weeks Dolce & Gabbana runway show in Milan featured unconventional models: babies, children and even a pregnant model. Along with recent trends of plus-sized models, I love that Dolce & Gabbana is including more body-types besides the super tall, extremely skinny woman. Showing women with children or who are pregnant seems to say that real women with real lives can easily incorporate Dolce & Gabbana into their lives.

Aside from the toddler models, the D&G show included incredible, decadent headphones, pearl headbands and tons of gorgeous florals with a few graphic sayings as well.

Do you think that we’ll see more designers continuing to expand the variety of models chosen for their shows? I hope so! D&G’s baby models are pretty adorable.
